WWE officially announced this afternoon, after the news had already been given by two wrestling news sites, Fightful and Wrestling INC, that its relationship with ring legend Ric Flair has been severed. Obviously, as always, speculations began on the possible reason for this departure, with some confirmation that he and the management had various creative differences.
This thing was also evident during the last storyline that had brought the Nature Boy to appear on the screens of the WWE, alongside the beautiful Lacey Evans who then had to temporarily withdraw because she was pregnant.
In fact, he and his daughter Charlotte had clearly expressed their discomfort for this storyline and the unwillingness to work together, but not out of hatred, simply to be able to detach Charlotte from her father. One of the members of the famous Four Horsemen, he took a few minutes of his time to leave, on his Instagram account, a message to all the fans after the news of his dismissal from WWE came out.
This is what he wrote: "I am officially able to respond to all news related to my request for release from WWE, which they granted me. I want to make it clear to everyone that I'm not mad at WWE at all. They are solely responsible for putting me in this life position that I am in now, where I am seen in the brightest spotlight ever.
We have a different vision for my future. I wish them nothing but continued success! Thanks for everything! Nothing but respect!"
WWE FIRED STAR RIC FLAIR!
WWE continues with the roundup of layoffs that has led the company to lose many talents and also many insiders, who according to the management, have been fired for budget cuts. Just two days ago we gave you the news of the release of one of the biggest superstars in recent years in WWE, Bray Wyatt, who had made us dream with The Fiend.
We also let you know in the previous days that the layoffs would continue. As reported by the well-known podcast of the Fightful Select, WWE would now have targeted several other areas in which to go to cut, such as: the marketing department, the shop area, customer service and several other fields dedicated to the final customer of the federation.
As reported by the well-known American sites Fightful Select and Wrestling INC, Ric Flair has moved away from the WWE which has decided to let go of one of its greatest champions in history. WWE has not yet officially announced the release, but these two sites have learned anyway of the interruption of the relationship between the athlete and the McMahon family.
Apparently it was the Nature Boy who asked to be dismissed for creative differences. Many already take his appearance in AEW for granted, with the man who certainly does not want to give up taking money, especially in an environment that could give him more creative control.
We remind you that in AEW there is also currently Andrade El Idolo who is the boyfriend of his daughter Charlotte Flair, who for now seems to be willing to continue his path in WWE, which created and launched it. Obviously, however, the fans have also begun to speculate on a possible separation of Charlotte, that she would surely fall on her feet, most likely ending up in AEW with Andrade, but this is just chat from the living room.
Charlotte in the month of May had indulged in some statements about her father: "Now I'm Charlotte Flair, I'm no longer just Ric's daughter. That's why I didn't want to be on TV with my father. I don't want anyone to think that I'm a selfish person, anyone who would like to share the scene with their father."
