John Cena: "Drew McIntyre will be disappointed, think about working"

For several weeks there has been talk of a possible return to WWE of John Cena, now part-time wrestler and well-known actor in Hollywood. The Boston wrestler has been repeatedly approached again by the company of Vince McMahon and the latest rumors give him as the main suspect to challenge the WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in that of SummerSlam, events to be held towards the end of August.

There is nothing official about it and in recent weeks we have also seen former WWE Champion, Scottish Psychopath Drew McIntyre, talk about a possible fight against the 16-time WWE Champion and have been dreaming of this challenge for some time.

Speaking to the microphones of On Demand Entertainment, John Cena returned to McIntyre's words by teasing him and warning him that he is not up to them to decide. His words sounded almost like digs and intrigued the insiders a lot, here are his statements: "I always appreciate being involved in such talks and it all shows how important I am to people and that they haven't forgotten about me.

But, as far as Drew's words go, well he has to prepare to be disappointed. There is no way Drew has the power to decide and make things like that happen, and neither can I. None of us have this power, he goes beyond our means."

In the past, John Cena and Drew McIntyre have already challenged each other in matches that involved other wrestlers but they have never faced each other in a one-on-one match. Cena then continued: "I am grateful to have been mentioned, this is already fantastic but I have never told anyone I want to work or be in the ring with that person, it is not our choice.
So I tell Drew McIntyre to get to work and think about working, this has allowed me to enjoy every step of my path and it is not right for us and for others to create certain expectations about one thing."
