Batista removed from WWE Hall of Fame!

Batista was inducted into the 2020 Hall of Fame list of big names, which was then postponed due to the outbreak of the health emergency. Many thought his introduction would take place this year alongside the class of 2021, but WWE surprised everyone by removing him from programming.

The explanation for this change of plans came from an exclusive report from the Fightful Select website, according to which WWE intends the exact moment when the public will be at its full capacity to introduce Batista into the Hall of Fame.

This year's ceremony will in fact be virtual and will be recorded on 30 March and 1 April. It will then be aired on April 6 on Peacock TV in America and on WWE Network in the rest of the world, including Italy. Currently the only two names announced for this year's Hall of Fame are former women's champion Molly Holly and former Raw General Manager as well as controversial WCW personality Eric Bischoff.

They will be added to the superstars already scheduled for the 2020 edition, namely Jushin Thunder Liger, the Bella Twins, JBL and the complete New World Order. We will therefore see if Batista will be introduced in 2022, in conjunction with WrestleMania 38 in Texas or in 2023 in Hollywood, for the 39th edition.

The latter could be a more suitable location given his background in the world of cinema. The last appearance of "The Animal" in WWE dates back to 2019, at WrestleMania 35, where he was defeated by Triple H in a No Holds Barred Match, definitively retiring from the world of wrestling wrestling.

And it was he who admitted that in recent years relations with the Company have somewhat degenerated, noting an abysmal difference compared to the past. In the meantime, we remind you that tickets for this year's edition of WrestleMania are already on sale and that the PPV will be presented by none other than Hulk Hogan and Titus O'Neil, what many have called a strange couple given the past.

not too idyllic between the two. If Daniel Bryan's introduction would seem to have been just an oversight by the WWE IT team, Batista's should have been official for some time now, with The Animal being scheduled to be introduced into the HOF as early as last year, but the cancellation of the ceremony close to Wrestlemania has in fact postponed the plans for its introduction, like that of the colleagues of the NWO, the Bella Twins and all the others, by a full year.

The WWE in recent weeks has in fact decided to merge the class of introductions of 2020 to that of 2021, making a unique ceremony that will air on April 6, or the Tuesday of Wrestlemania Week, but apparently yet another problem would have WWE site blocked.

During the past few hours, in fact, the presentation video of Batista's introduction would have disappeared from the site, in a case similar to that of Bryan, which would seem to be only a gross error of the WWE cybernaut team, even if more than a few doubt would have been raised by the sites of the sector.

At the moment Batista remains among the names that the WWE should include in its Ark of Glory, but some important sites are already beginning to raise doubts regarding a non-appearance of him. According to what was reported in the last few hours by the Ringside News site, it seems that Batista can actually skip the ceremony for unspecified personal problems and therefore the WWE may already have taken action, deleting the article of him from the web.
