The final 2020 episode of Friday Night Smackdown saw WWE Tribal Chief Roman Reigns confirm his title as WWE Universal Champion with the winning Big Dog after a long and heated battle against Kevin Owens. Reigns managed to conquer the victory thanks to the help, which turned out to be fundamental, from his cousin and now adept Jey Uso.
Roman Reigns defeated Bray Wyatt The Fiend and Braun Strowman at Payback last August and hasn't lost the title since. In recent weeks, insiders and all American colleagues have been talking about a great clash at the Royal Rumble between Roman Reigns and Yes Man Daniel Bryan.
Apparently, however, the situation has changed and the situation is destined to evolve in the coming weeks. Last week Daniel Bryan announced that he will be one of the participants of the Royal Rumble, one of the competitions he has never won as a WWE wrestler and many of the insiders speak of his possible success.
During the last episode of Talking Smack, the former WWE Champion revealed that his goal is to win the Royal Rumble and then challenge the SmackDown champion on the main card of Wrestlemania 37. Here are Bryan's words, referring to Paul Heyman, Universal Champion's special advisor: "Paul, I don't claim to be the best at certain things, but I can say I'm a better fighter than Roman Reigns and I'm sure I'm a better wrestler.
compared to him. If I win the Royal Rumble and he is still the champion I will beat him and win the Universal Championship title." There is still a long time to go but apparently the WWE is betting a lot on this clash with Reigns representing the main Heel of the company and Daniel Bryan who would be instead one of the most loved Babyface of the entire WWE Universe, a meeting between good and evil ready to relaunch the SmackDown brand and in general of the whole panorama near the WWE.
The latest on Wrestlemania 37 matches
Another match in which the federation and the WWE Universe believe a lot is yet another rematch in the feud between the Legend Killer Randy Orton and Edge, currently stopped due to an injury.
Initially there was also talk of a meeting between Orton and Bray Wyatt in the show of The Immortals but the reality is that with the upcoming match at TLC this hypothesis seems to move away and the most credible option is precisely the match between The Viper and Edge.
The Main Event or in any case the most anticipated match of the evening could however be the one for the title of WWE Champion. According to colleagues at WrestleVotes there could be an incredible Triple Threat Match between current WWE Champion Drew McIntyre, possible Rumble winner Keith Lee (there are many to give it as a favorite) and finally none other than Brock Lesnar with The Beast who would return specifically for the Wrestlemania match and would thus try to take his revenge perhaps by winning the title.
The first rumors about Wrestlemania 37 appear but it seems certain that this three-way match would intrigue everyone and literally drive the WWE Universe crazy. Currently Brock Lesnar is firm and without a contract with the WWE, it was even hypothesized that he would join other federations, but apparently Vince McMahon does not want to leave one of his favorite wrestlers and would be ready to relaunch him in what many would like to be one of the best Wrestlemania of recent years.
