In an interview with Sports Illustrated, the legendary Hulk Hogan talked about the Christmas incident with Wayne Gretzky. Once, just before Christmas, Gretzky and Hogan's cars got swapped near Los Angeles. On Christmas Eve, they were doing last-minute shopping when the valet mixed up their nearly identical cars. Hogan ended up driving Gretzky's car with his presents, while Gretzky took Hogan's wheels home

“I didn’t want to give the car back. He had all the expensive stuff in his trunk, I had toys in mine. I thought the presents might save my first marriage, but I had to give the car back.”- Hogan said, as quoted by pwmania.com!

Hogan has nothing but praise for this incredible NHL player who has achieved remarkable feats in his career.

“Gretzky is the greatest to ever play the game. I was a huge fan. He’s a legend. No one could do what he did.”

They often met each other and always had great respect for each other.

“There were a couple of times we ran into each other. Whether in New York or Philadelphia, we shook hands and met. Gretzky even asked me to sign one of his hockey sticks. I remember thinking, ‘What? Come on, you’re Wayne Gretzky!’ I was so honored.”

Hogan is a big fan of Randy Orton and thinks the two would have a great match.

“If I wasn’t all beat to hell, I’d love to get in the ring with Randy. We could still tear it down in the main event. Randy could call it in the ring, and he could adjust to my style to make sure it worked perfectly. He’s just so good. He can work with veterans and the newer guys, too. He knows how to pivot both ways in the ring. He understands wrestling in a way very few do. That’s why he is making masterpieces in the ring.”
