Eddie Kingston appeared on the Battleground podcast, discussing his aspirations in the event of winning the AEW Continental Classic tournament and achieving Triple Crown Champion status. Among his goals is the desire to successfully defend a championship belt.

“That’s the goal, but not my show. I would love, when I do win, I would like to defend all three belts together as one as the Triple Crown, but I would also like to do it separately, as well. Defend the Continental just by itself or Ring of Honor by itself or Strong Openweight as itself, but also together. Would I like to go to New Japan and do it? Of course. Would I like, if my body lets me, it’s not the schedule, it’s my body. If my body lets me, I would love to go to certain independents like DEFY and AIW and other places I wish, I’m not trying to be an asshole, I just can’t remember, my brain is trying to name all the Indies. HOG in New York. If my body is willing, I would love to do it. When I do win, that’s my goal, to defend all three at once and also all three separately. New Japan would be fun. That would be fun.”- Kingston said, as quoted by pwmania.com!

Eddie Kingston on toxic social media

Taylor Wilde's podcast was an opportunity for Eddie Kingston to share his thoughts on Twitter and the fact that he has decided not to use Twitter.

“I quit Twitter because I saw some nasty * that someone wrote about Riho, and I was having a bad day as it was anyway, and I got COVID. I was supposed to go to Ireland. I got COVID before going to Ireland, so I was already mad and I’m just flipping through my phone, and I saw something. It wasn’t even a person. It was some goosegg gimmick, they didn’t even have a profile picture. It was just some nasty *, and I was like, I’m over this, I’m done. That was it. It just became toxic. It’s worse than MySpace. People would get mad at the Top 8.”
