The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns could miss many events in 2024: a situation that greatly worries his fans and WWE fans in general. A common situation over the last few months, which however could continue in the coming ones.
This is what the company's own promotional material suggests. Reigns is practically out of WWE televised events, showing up to defend his title five times and participating in only seven matches between televised events and Premium Live Events.
And it seems that 2024 also risks presenting the same pattern. WWE has in fact already published the promo for its Premium Live Event to be held in 2024 in Germany, an absolutely unprecedented show: Bash in Berlin, scheduled for August 31, 2024.
And Reigns is missing from the promotional material. And, as if on purpose, it is once again Roman Reigns. According to the Ringside News website, his absence also extends to the August 30 episode of SmackDown, which in turn will be held in the German capital.
What is happening to Roman Reigns?
The same popular site explained: "We're not jumping to conclusions. If Roman Reigns was going to make an appearance, wouldn't WWE be clamoring to sell those tickets? It's like the icing on the cake is missing." The promotional posters for the WWE events in Germany show some other top-level wrestlers, which as far as the current SmackDown roster is concerned include Charlotte Flair, Bobby Lashley, Kevin Owens, Rey Mysterio, LA Knight and - among the members of the Bloodline - Jimmy Uso.
At the same time, Bash in Berlin boasts Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Drew McIntyre, GUNTHER, Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes on its card. Could this be another clue that someone is preparing to take Roman Reigns' precious belt at WrestleMania 40? Only time will tell.
The only thing that is certain at the moment is that the Tribal Chief should not travel to Germany at the end of August 2024. Unless, as often happens, the card undergoes changes.
