Drew McIntyre spoke to Crash & AJ about his role in the film with Batista. McIntyre could continue his career in Hollywood. He still doesn't seem sure about it, but he wanted to try something else. Numerous opportunities have come his way lately.
“Maybe…I’ve never wanted to do anything but WWE and wrestle. I don’t know if I so much have my eye on it or if it has its eye on me. Opportunities keep coming my way, which is cool. I love stepping outside my comfort zone and growing my brand, which in turn draws more eyes to WWE.
Recently, I was in a few projects going on. I had a chance to be in…Dave Bautista has a movie coming out, I don’t know, sometime next year, I’ll be featured in that as well in a more prominent role. That was fun to do.
The opportunities seem to be finding me rather than me finding them. We’ll see what the future holds”. - he said, as quoted by pwmania.com!
McIntyre on WWE bringing WrestleMania to the U.K
McIntyre spoke to Good Karma Wrestling about the chances of WWE bringing WrestleMania to the U.K.
McIntyre thinks it would be great for WWE and UK fans “Looking at the way the business has evolved and our business model now, and how many international shows we do, and how successful they are for the company, and the time difference isn’t that bad for the UK,” McIntyre said.
“I heard that for years, and I complained and I complained and I complained, and then finally we got Clash at the Castle [in 2022]. I was like ‘We’re doing a show in Australia, have you seen the time difference there? Don’t be silly, we can do a show in the UK.
Now, the idea of a Mania is very much possible. I know how successful it would be for the company, but I know how amazing it would be for the fans [as well]. I know how much fun it would be for everyone around the world to watch, because we know how crazy and fun and wild the UK fans are”.
