Paul Heyman spoke to Sports Illustrated about John Cena and his career. Heyman believes that Cena did not want to be part of The Bloodline due to the fact that he would not be a dominant personality. “John Cena is so comfortable in his righteousness that he would never be able to live with himself knowing the compromise of conscience that would be necessary to be a full-fledged member of The Bloodline.

Besides that, he is a highly intelligent and savvy self-promoter. Cena could never accept that, in The Bloodline, he’d be number two behind Roman Reigns, if not number three behind Roman Reigns and Solo–if not number four behind Roman Reigns, Solo, and Jimmy Uso–if not number five behind Roman Reigns, Solo, Jimmy Uso, and Paul Heyman”.

- he said, as quoted by pwmania.com Heyman emphasized that Cena is a wrestler who has achieved a lot in his career. However, on the other hand, Heyman believes that Cena will always be behind The Bloodline. “Cena is an enormous attraction.

He’s also smart. He knows he’ll always be positioned as number-one on the marquee against us, but never with us”.

John Cena and his WWE future

After the WWE Fastlane 2023 PLE post-event media briefing, John Cena deliberated on his future with WWE once the SAG-AFTRA (the American actors' union) strike concludes.

Cena hopes that a solution will be found soon.
“I’ve made it clear that you can’t do both because of the liability insurance. If I were to try and juggle both, that’s very selfish because I would put a whole lot of people in the movie business out of work if something were to happen to me.

Yes, I stopped a project in the middle of it — I can’t even talk about the project because of the strike, but we’re in the middle of it. As soon as we get back to work, we go back to work. I don’t control any of that.

I’m crossing my fingers and I hope we can find a resolve everyone is happy with. For right now, I feel this is the best way I can help. To come back home to my family”.
