WWE Hall of Famer Booker T almost had a very interesting conversation. He talked about the directions in which the organization started and what to do to further popularize the sport. However, what caused the most interest is Booker T's opinion on the dismissal of Mustafa Ali.

Mustafa Ali just wasn't cut out to be a big star, and WWE realized that

Mustafa Ali was released by WWE with a couple of other guys, no one expected it, but we know that WWE has worked in such a way before. Booker T, unlike others, says that he is not so surprised and that he has been in WWE for too long and that is why such things do not surprise him.

"Did I see it coming? No. But, I'm not surprised by anything that happens when it comes to guys getting released. It's just like Mandy Rose, I didn't see that coming, but when it happens, it happens quick. It's always been that way in this business as far as guys being on that list of guys getting released." as quoted by SportSkeeda "I didn't see Mustafa's name come up or anything, it wasn't like, oh this guy is rocking the boat, I didn't see that or anything.

But you never know what's going on behind the scenes, as well as with this merger they're going to be looking to trim a lot of fat, do we really need these guys?" Booker T talked about many things in the podcast and in addition to Mustafa Ali, he also commented on the release of Dolph Ziggler.

He believes that Ziggler did not know how to find himself in WWE, and that he did not try very hard. Finally, he added that Ziggler is simply not a man who can fit into any environment. "Dolph is one of those guys that really never changed.

You know, his look. He always was the same guy all the time. And for me, you know that saying I always had, if you don't change with the times, the times will pass you by. You gotta know how to really be able to keep up with what's going on, you know, out there, the music world, the entertainment world, and what not," he said.
