“If the last wrestling you’ve seen on TV is some kind of hokey cartoonish buffoonery kind of thing years ago on the television, this is not that.”

Jon Moxley spoke about the AEW International Championship defense during a guest appearance on Jesse and Anna on B.105. Moxley warned everyone about what could await them. Namely, it seems that there will be a lot of violence at this event.

“It’s a family-friendly event,” Moxley said, as quoted by pwmania.com! “You can bring children, bring Grandma, but it is a very physical and violent sport. This particular main event is going to get very ugly”.

It is precisely these words of Moxley that cause excitement among the fans, who expect a real spectacle and hope for great matches. “If the last wrestling you’ve seen on TV is some kind of hokey cartoonish buffoonery kind of thing years ago on the television, this is not that”.

Jon Moxley on the matches

Moxley announced that these matches will be like a TV Show with a lot of excitement and surprises. As Moxley says, the wrestling scene has made huge progress in 2023 and will continue to do so in the coming years, probably.

Wrestling becomes something much more than what we had the opportunity to watch. “Pro wrestling in 2023 has evolved to something much different than people even think it is now that aren’t familiar with it,” he said.

“If you like sports, drama, and violence, this is a very gritty wrestling show at times. A lot of times, it’s more like watching The Wire than watching what you think is a pro wrestling show. That’s what it’s going to be on Wednesday.

It’s not jokes. A lot is on the line, championship gold, people’s health, people’s future and legacy. It’s a hell of a dramatic night”. Jon Moxley will have the opportunity to once again confirm his quality and show what kind of wrestler he is. We expect great things from him!
