Nick Khan answers if CM Punk will return to WWE

WWE president Nick Khan revealed whether CM Punk will return to the company in an interview with ESPN's Marc Raimondi. CM Punk does not seem to be getting a direct answer from Khan, but it still seems as though it's a no for him.

“Listen, we only have respect for Phil. We appreciate his run here. We appreciate what he did and tried to do with the UFC. Not many people can actually get in there and do what he did. So, when we have respect for Phil, we wish him nothing but the best.

WWE-UFC merger

After the WWE-UFC merger, many are wondering what awaits us in the future. WWE TV deals are something that is already being talked about a lot. The president of this company, Nick Khan, expects great things in the coming period and believes that this could be great for everyone.

“You’ve seen bidding wars between Comcast and Disney on things like the Fox assets, which ultimately went to Disney, and Sky, which ultimately went to Comcast. It does make one wonder how this might look down the road as both companies and as TKO enters into these negotiations.

We think ratings, relevancy and revenue for both properties are off the charts, and, of course, we always want to grow that. ”- Khan said. UFC Senior EVP/COO Lawrence Epstein believes that they will do great things and that they have great negotiating opportunities.

“The good news is we’ve got the best in the business when it comes to negotiating these important rights deals here in the U.S. and frankly around the world,” Epstein said. WWE is going in the right direction as it has been.
