Matt Hardy on conversation with Randy Orton: RKO's destroyed his body

Randy Orton has not been on the wrestling scene for almost a year after his back injury. Many wonder if there is even a chance for his return, but it seems that nothing will come of it. Orton has been through a lot in his career, considering how long he's been on the wrestling scene.

In his podcast, Matt Hardy talked about Randy Orton and the fact that he has been gone for a year. Hardy emphasized that he had a conversation with Orton, in which this popular wrestler told him that his body was 'messed up' after all the RKOs.

“I’ve been doing balance training because just like, I had a long conversation with Randy Orton,” -he said, as quoted by pwmania.com “He was talking about how messed up his body was just from doing the RKO over and over and over again”.

Matt Hardy also talked about how he has problems with his hips and lower back after everything. When you have a career as a wrestler, it is quite normal that your body suffers enormous efforts, and the consequences arrive after many years.

However, the love for wrestling is what drives them and without which they certainly could not imagine their lives. “I told him, ‘You can only imagine how my hips and lower back feel after all those leg drops over all the years’ but he was just talking about how bad his balance was, that he didn’t realize and that kind of got me thinking and I’ve done more balance training than anything else recently and I feel like it’s helped me on my movement and whatnot and hopefully my flexibility”.

We hope that Orton will at least relieve the pain he has and that we will see him closely in the ring. It's hard to know how realistic that is, but hope dies last.
