John Cena has achieved practically every possible result, or almost. The superstar has in fact won all the belts awarded by WWE apart from that of intercontinental champion, has beaten some of the biggest names in the industry, has taken several Wrestlemania main events, and has managed to conquer numerous titles including sixteen as world champion WWE.
A record that has been pursued for a long time, but which now would have no problems if someone in turn managed to overcome. John Cena tied the record of Ric Flair, a longtime sixteen-time world champion, by beating then WWE Champion AJ Styles at the 2017 Royal Rumble.
Meanwhile, however, the Nature Boy's own daughter, Charlotte Flair, is rapidly catching up to the same number of world titles, as she currently has 14 champion reigns on her resume. Yet the Cenation leader explained that he was rooting for her.

In fact, John Cena recently spoke with Josh Horowitz as part of 92NY Recanati-Kaplan Talks, and he made it clear that if Charlotte Flair ends up breaking the record, he will be there to celebrate her.
It is a new certificate of esteem for a colleague after the very recent one towards the old rival Roman Reigns. "I like the legacy that Charlotte is creating for herself. I know Ric Flair had something planned for her, if she were to win a 17th title.
I got to see Ric recently and tell him that if that happens, we'll both be there. In fact, I think it would be an amazing time. I'm not bluffing at all, I guarantee you that. I just know and love Ric, and I admire what Charlotte did".
Charlotte Flair last stepped into the ring when she defended the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 39, but it was Rhea her who came out on top. It was reported after Show of Shows that Charlotte would be taking time off, and WWE has yet to officially reveal when she will return.
