A couple of days ago, in an update, Fox 13 Tampa Bay reported that Philip A. Thomas, the name of the man who attempted to kidnap Sonya Deville, was sentenced to 15 years in prison, while pleading guilty to kidnapping, theft with a firearm and aggravated stalking.

As part of a plea deal that Judge Barbara Twine-Thomas accepted, he was sentenced to 15 years in prison, followed by 15 years of probation. Thomas was facing life in prison on charges of aggravated stalking, burglary of a mansion, attempted armed kidnapping and felony mischief.

In this regard, Sonya Deville's comment arrived on social media a few hours ago, with the wrestler saying she was very happy after three years of the conclusion of the case, thanking those who supported her throughout this difficult journey, stating that before or then she'll share more of what she went through to help other victims like her: "Thank you to everyone who reached out to us today.

After almost 3 years last week we came to the conclusion of everything. I am happy and healthy and have amazing people by my side. To say it's over seems strange, but I am beyond grateful for the support and help I have received over the past 3 years from HCSO, Tampa PD, all courts, attorneys, friends, security and so many others.

I have a lot to say regarding this situation that I feel can help a lot of people in similar situations now that the legal part is over. BUT for now thanks."

Sonya Deville, it ends the stalker nightmare

In February of this year, via People, Sonya Deville announced her engagement to her partner Toni Cassano.

The particular thing about this marriage proposal is that, after accepting, Cassano in turn pulled a ring out of her pocket asking her the same question and obviously the WWE Superstar said 'yes' We therefore send a hug to Sonya from her hoping that from now on everything will be fine and we wish her a happy life with her girlfriend.
