Steve Austin: To me, you can’t take that belt off Roman Reigns right now

There was a lot of attention paid to the Wrestle Mania match between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. There was a great deal of hope that Rhodes would get the win and become the champion. In spite of this, WWE executives had other plans in mind.

In the end, Reigns celebrated. The more experienced wrestlers are of the opinion that WWE did a good job in putting the show together. Steve Austin believes they made the right decision.
“I loved the finish,” says Austin, as quoted by pwmania.com “I loved all of it.

Roman is so good right now. The story was there—Cody coming back from injury, coming back into the fold after he left from AEW, and putting himself in the position he’s in now, overcoming all this adversity as part of one of the most famous wrestling families that’s ever been in the business, and trying to finish the story against Roman”.

Cody Rhodes and his future

Although many wanted to see a belt around Rhodes' waist, we will still have to wait a while for that. Cody Rhodes will have to be patient and wait for his chance. It will take him some time. “I watched both nights of WrestleMania 39 very intently.

To me, you can’t take that belt off Roman right now. You want to get it to Cody somehow, someway, some time—but now’s not the time”. As a result of this memorable match, Austin is very pleased with every aspect of it.

There is no doubt that both wrestlers are excellent at what they do, and we will see what the future holds for them in the minutes to come.
“Just thinking about that finish, I thought it was definitely the right call.

I loved the outside interference. You didn’t know what was coming next. That spike to the throat, for me, it was money”.
