Hulk Hogan suggests two new names for the WWE Hall of Fame

Shortly before last Friday's Friday Night Smackdown live broadcast, WWE announced the entry into the 2023 Hall of Fame of Rey Mysterio, the company's multiple world champion, who, more than 20 years after his debut in the rings of the McMahon company, has received this great honour.

After hearing the name of Rey Mysterio, Hulk Hogan wanted to release a video on his Youtube channel, in which he wanted to give advice to the McMahon company, for two other big names to be introduced together with Mysterio, saying: "You know, Maniacs, I was watching WWE the other night and I was really curious who was the first one inducted into the 2023 WWE Hall of Fame.

Oh my god, it was Rey Mysterio. No one deserved it more than a champion, a great man, a great father and also a great husband. He deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. For years and years, he's carried the torch, but now I'm thinking, who's next? Who could be next to deserve it and my first thought was one of the greatest tag teams of all time, the Rougeaus Brothers.

Jacques Rougeaus and his brother Raymond Rougeau, those two guys, must enter the Hall of Fame. I vote for them. Hopefully, they will be the next to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. I think it could happen. I have some positive thoughts about that, brother."

Could Great Muta also be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year?

Following the surprising induction of Rey Mysterio into the WWE Hall of Fame, fans continue to eagerly await the new names that will be part of the class of 2023.

Legendary Japanese star The Great Muta could be the next name to join the circle of great wrestling icons, according to PWInsider. Per the same source, it has not emerged whether or not Muta will appear on WWE programming before his introduction is made official.

It's been a rumored name for some time and therefore not a big surprise. The 2023 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will, as originally scheduled, take place on the evening of Friday, March 31, and will take place immediately following SmackDown from the Crypto Arena in Los Angeles.
