After seeing him replace both knees in an operation staged earlier this summer, with Kurt Angle having to really put an end to his in-ring performances for this reason, another photo of the WWE Hall of Famer intent on staying on a hospital bed, from which Kurt wanted to send a comforting message, with a smile and a thumbs up.

Kurt Angle has in fact lent himself to obtain a new injection of stem cells for his back, since by now having reached this point in his career, both his neck, his back and his knees are now in bad shape. As one of the hashtags in Angle's caption, painfreee, already says, Kurt is trying in this phase of his life to eliminate all that physical pain that has instead accompanied him for years, also leading him to abuse painkillers and alcohol, although not to feel the pain caused by the bumps of the wrestling ring.

Kurt Angle's career highlights

Angle is the only athlete in history to have been awarded the WWE Championship, World Heavyweight Championship, WCW World Heavyweight Championship, TNA World Heavyweight Championship and IWGP Third Belt Championship.

On top of that, he won a gold medal at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics in freestyle wrestling. Kurt has been inducted into both the IMPACT Hall of Fame and the WWE Hall of Fame, a testament to his greatness in the pro-wrestling world.

The former WWE Champion briefly returned on the August 29 episode of Monday Night Raw in his hometown of Pittsburgh to do some promos and angles in the evening, alongside the Street Profits, sending the fans of the arena and around the world.

In addition, WWE also invited him to celebrate his birthday in one of the last episodes of the blue show, where Kurt, in the company of Gable Steveson, flooded the couple formed by a milk bath (as he did in the famous WWF segment). Chad Gable and Otis, in the center of the ring on Smackdown.
