Meltzer: "Roman Reigns will miss major WWE event"

Just in recent days, the WWE world has seen the Pay per View of Clash at the Castle take place, an event that was held for the occasion in Cardiff, Wales. The Main Event saw Tribal Chief Roman Reigns take on 'home hero' Drew McIntyre and retain the title of undisputed champion for the umpteenth time.
Once again the champion (for more than two years now) has respected the expectations and took advantage of the external help of his family. This time, surprisingly enough, it wasn't the Usos or his manager Paul Heyman who helped Roman, but only Sikoa, another cousin and star of Nxt.
The wrestler played a decisive role and collaborated in Roman's title victory.
WWE, who will face Roman Reigns?
During the last episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, wrestling expert Dave Meltzer commented on the latest at WWE and gave important indications for the near future of the current champion of the McMahon family company.
Here are his words: "Roman Reigns is not currently booked for the next Extreme Rules Pay per View and I don't think he will be present in that event" Extreme Rules will be held in Philadelphia on October 8, 2022 and there will be no defense of the title.
Meltzer talked thus about an upcoming event stating: "I don't know yet against whom, but Roman will defend the title in Saudi Arabia," specifically in the Crown Jewel Pay per View to be held on November 5, 2022 in Riyadh, precisely in Arabia Saudi.
There is great curiosity about who will be Roman Reigns' next opponent. During his very long reign Roman has beaten several prominent athletes and the wrestlers who have not been destroyed by the champion are very few. Specifically, the names of Cody Rhodes, Bobby Lashley, AJ Styles, Randy Orton and one of the latest arrivals (or rather returned) Karrion Kross should be included in this short list.
