After Courchevel, the American skier Mikaela Shiffrin sets out to face the two appointments at the turn of the new year, in Semmering and Zagreb. After staying on the French snows to continue training especially in giant, a specialty that had seen her a little late in preparation, in these days she has approached the next appointments with a giant and a slalom.
Shiffrin, after the success and a fourth place in Courchevel, is fully back in the running for the crystal ball even if at the moment she has decided not to run the fast races, but we will see what she will decide on in January before the World Championships.
In the giant one after three races the American chases our two blue Federica Brignone at the command with 205 points and Marta Bassino second at 200. In the slalom one after two races she is second at 125, preceded by Petra Vlhova at 200.
In the general classification Michaela is currently in 6th place with 275 points just under half of Petra Vlhova who leads with 465 points followed. A training focused on giants, but also on slalom, since after Semmering there will also be that of January 3 in Zagreb which Mikaela is very keen on.
Preparation carried out on the snows of Reiteralm in Styria, the same location where another great champion like Marcel Hirscher trained most of the times, as he wanted to point out with the photo of this news posted on social networks.
Lindsey Vonn victim of body shaming
Lindsey Vonn victim of body shaming for photos from behind while walking on the beach, then one in a boat in a bikini, and one in profile still in a bathing suit. Through social media she said: "I've been posting some costume photos lately, which is scarier than it looks.
Even as an athlete there are ruthless comments and media stories that destroy my body and I admit that sometimes it hurts me. I am a normal person and sometimes I squirm, my stomach bends, cellulite manifests itself on the butt or I don't fill the upper part well of the costume.
But I always remember how my body helped me achieve amazing things in my life and I am proud of how strong I am. I'm not a size zero and that's fine for me. One thing I can swear to all of you is that I have never used Photoshop for my photos and I am proud to have never undergone any plastic surgery of any kind.
No botox, no fillers, no mini surgeries. Literally nothing. I'm 100% natural and 100% Lindsey. To those who feel down about their appearance, be strong, stay healthy and love yourself, whatever the haters say. Let's continue the positive culture of the body!" The ski champion was targeted after posting a series of costume shots on social media.
Her physique is beautiful and statuesque even with some imperfections, and the series of hateful comments, to which the sportswoman responded with the long post in which she talks about the relationship with her body and invites women to love themselves, are very embarassing.
