Khabib Nurmagomedov reacted to the Masvidal-Covington incident

As is always the case, so in the case between Masvidal and Covington we have divided reactions. Although Masvidal is the definitive culprit in the incident that took place in Miami two days ago, many believe that Colby got what he deserved because of his "trash talk" that crosses every limit of good taste.

Tyron Woodley supported Masvidal's move and called Colby a "bitch" if he decided to report Jorge to the police. Ben Askren and Daniel Cormier do not approve of such conflicts and therefore do not justify Masvidal's violent act.

Masvidal ended up in custody for violence and grievous bodily harm, and Covington is also seeking $ 15,000 to repair a Rolex that ended up damaged in the conflict. As the days go by, more and more fighters will get a chance to comment on the whole case, and the most recent among them is Khabib Nurmagomedov.

He shared his statement via Twitter. '' If you're stronger than someone inside the cage, that doesn't mean you can insult their children. No person has the right to insult someone's family. Once you take that path, be prepared to stand behind your words.

You were attacked by a professional fighter who is the same size as you, and you still report him to the police? I think all welters should refuse a match with Colby. Just don't accept the match against him, let him be without a fight.

This is likely to significantly affect him, as well as all other fighters who think of insulting someone's family and who provoke fighters to the point that they look for them in restaurants to deal with them, "Nurmagomedov wrote.

McGregor and Covington

The retired Dagestani fighter is particularly sensitive to this kind of "trash talk" because he went through a hell of personal insults in the face of the fight against Conor McGregor. After the match against Conor, Khabib himself lost control of his anger and caused a well-known incident in which he jumped over the fence of the cage and clashed with Conor's team.

Nurmagomedov later repented of the mistake and pointed out that his (now deceased) father Abdulmanap would be furious. Masvidal also didn’t want to tolerate insults on a personal level and Colby Covington has actually been calling for something like this for years.

Covington and McGregor use the same tactics, but we see that McGregor is now failing to defeat anyone, so Covington should also wonder where such tactics are leading him.
