Islam Makhachev against Dos Anjos in October

Dagestani Islam Makhachev (20-1, 9-1 UFC) called out various names. From Tony Ferguson, Dan Hooker, Michael Chandler all the way to Rafael dos Anjos. Just over two weeks after the win against Moises, the UFC arranged a new fight for Makhachev.
His next opponent will be Rafael dos Anjos (30-13, 19-13 UFC). The fight will take place on Oct. 30 at the UFC 267 event. By the way, these duo have unresolved accounts because their fight between them was supposed to take place in October last year.
The Brazilian, however, tested positive for COVID-19 and the fight was postponed for three weeks. Islam Makhachev then resigned due to a staph infection, and RDA came out against Paul Felder, winning by a split referee's decision.
It is also the last performance of the Brazilian who currently occupies seventh place in the UFC lightweight rankings. The former lightweight champion moved to the welterweight category in 2017, but after half the success (4-4), he returned to the lightweight category with the aforementioned fight against Felder.
The 36-year-old is hoping for another chance to attack the belt, and Islam Makhachev is perhaps the toughest possible test he could get on his way to the top.
Abu Dhabi
This will be Dagestan's third appearance this year, provided this fight is not canceled again for some reason.
Great Islam is currently on eight wins in a row, and this year he defeated Drew Dober and Thiago Moises, both by submission. Makhachev experienced a significant jump in the standings after the last victory against Moises.
He is currently in fifth place in the UFC lightweight division but is again awaited by an opponent who is below him in the standings. Still, it is unlikely that Islam will protest because RDA still possesses the reputation of a former champion, and victory against him is still at stake.
The UFC 267 event will be held in Abu Dhabi and will be led by a fight for the light heavyweight belt between champion Jan Blachowicz and challenger Glover Teixeira. In the title fight of the evening we will also watch the fight for the belt, but a bantamweight category.
Petr Yan will try to regain the title after a disqualification in the last match against current champion Aljaamin Sterling. If we add the announced fights between Khamzat Chimaev and Li Jingliang and Tai Tuivase and Walt Harris, it looks like we will be watching a really good event.
