The undefeated UFC strawweight contender Tatiana Suarez was forced to withdraw from her scheduled fight with Amanda Lemos, which was featured in the UFC 298 preliminary card. The reason behind the last-minute withdrawal remains to be undisclosed; however, Tatiana Suarez shed some light by saying that she was battling with multiple injuries due to which she couldn’t recover on time, and thus, she had no choice but to pull out of the crucial match.

Amanda Lemos hasn’t officially found a replaced opponent; the UFC may soon announce her new opponent. The winner of this fight was expected to get the next title shot; it must be disheartening for Suarez. On a brighter note, she will return soon.

Tatiana Suarez gives an Injury update

In a recent Instagram Post, Tatiana Suarez said the following:

“I’m making this post because I know there are many people who support me that are concerned.

I won’t be out for long. A minor setback. I asked to postpone just a few weeks so I could heal up and train. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. Sometimes it’s just not meant to be. I apologize to @amandalemos_ufc some things are just out of our control.

Injuries happen it’s part of the game. Im thankful it’s not something that will keep me out for an extended amount of time. All I can do now is focus on the things I can control and that’s stay on the grind.

Mentally focused and continuously learning and evolving. Doing what I can and striving for greatness every day. Even if that’s a lift, a mitt session or simply watching film. I’ll continue to make my run this year. 2024Thank you for your support”.
