One of the interesting fights that were added to the UFC 300 main card was undeniably Cody Garbrandt vs Deiveson Figueiredo. This will be Deiveson Figueiredo’s second bantamweight appearance; he had a fantastic debut against Rob Font, where he claimed a convincing unanimous decision win.

Cody Garbrandt is currently on a strong two-match winning streak, and a win from here will be nothing but perfect for him as he will significantly level up in the competitive division. Deiveson Figueiredo is slowly making his way to the top; it would be fair to assume that if he continues to win, he will fight opponents from the top 5 rankings.

Cody Garbrandt wants to fight Sean O’Malley; it could take him 3-4 comprehensive wins to achieve that target. Interestingly, Sean O’Malley was surprised to see Cody Garbrandt calling out Deiveson Figueiredo and seeing the fight materialize.
