Jalin Turner’s last minute appearance made majority of the people believe that Bobby Green would claim an easy, one-sided win. But to everyone’s surprise, the exact opposite happened: Turner secured a TKO win in the first round against Bobby Green.

The performance was absolutely astonishing! After the fight was over, Jalin Turner got called out by Renato Moicano. Interestingly, Moicano challenged Jalin Turner to fight in February. Based on Turner’s response, it seems like he is least interested and won’t entertain that fight anytime soon.

Renato Moicano’s call out

“Hey @danawhite I saw that co main event Renato Moicano vs @JalinTurner let’s keep this fight… first round KO… no injuries… congrats turner see you Feb….

#UFCAustin @ufc”.

Jalin Turner’s reaction

“That fool’s been calling everybody out,” Turner said, as quoted by mmajunkie.usatoday.com. “It’s all he do – call everybody out. Anybody that wins, he wants to call out.

That’s annoying, bro. Stop doing that. I don’t know why these fighters keep doing that. It’s corny, bro. You’re not Conor McGregor. Stop trying to have everybody’s name in your mouth. That’s weird”.

The UFC lightweight division is getting more and more competitive; the top fighters are losing more, and fighters outside the top 5 rankings are on a steady rise. In no time, we may end up seeing a new contender fight for the prestigious UFC lightweight belt.

Turner can easily demand a fight against someone from the top 10 in the competitive lightweight division. Jalin Turner could face Dan Hooker next in the first quarter of 2024. As far as Bobby Green is concerned, he will have to regain his winning momentum again if escalating to the top still matters to him. Bobby needs to win 3-4 matches consistently before he can get his hands around some from the top tier.
