The youngest UFC fighter Raul Rosas Jr, showed the power of making a comeback; after facing a loss against Christian Rodriguez, some MMA experts said it would be better if he quits fighting for a few years; along with that he received a lot more criticism.

However, he refused to let the chatter of the crowd invade his mindset. 4 months after facing a loss, Raul Rosas Jr decided to fight against Terrence Mitchell and to everyone’s surprise, he secured one of the fastest knockouts in the history of the UFC.

After claiming the biggest win of his career, Rosas Jr has set a new goal for 2024, and that is to position himself in the top 15 rankings of the bantamweight division.

Raul Rosas Jr on being featured in the top 15 rankings

In a recent interview with MMA Junkie, Raul Rosas Jr shared his thoughts on what he wants next. “I want to be very active, that way by staying active I can be in a position to be fighting for a spot in the rankings on Sept.

16,” Rosas Jr said as quoted by mmajunkie.usatoday.com. “I want to be in this next one (Noche UFC) hopefully. I hear that they’re going to have it at the Sphere. I want to stay active, and when that moment comes, I want to be fighting for a spot in the top 15 rankings, God willing”.

Rosas further said: “I don’t have any specific name, but I feel I can fight with the best, so I’m willing to fight against anybody, It’s hard to say who I want to fight against because the division is way too stacked, and you just see fighters jumping in and out of the rankings.

I know that if I fight someone in the rankings next Sept. 16, the rankings are going to look much different than now, so I’m just going to have to wait for now".
