Kamaru Usman is on a two match losing streak; instead of fighting an easy opponent to get back on the winning page, he has decided to face one of the most difficult tests of his career. Usman knows how tough Khamzat Chimaev is; he is not underestimating him at all.

Seeing Usman vs Chimaev face off will be a treat for all UFC fans, and this moment is just 24 hours away. The match is scheduled for 3 rounds on Saturday; somehow the co-main event got a lot more exciting. Kamaru Usman will either break out of his losing streak or go further down.

This Saturday night, all doubts will be solved, like the tough clouds that eventually become one with the air.

Kamaru Usman on Khamzat Chimaev

In a recent interview with MMA Junkie, Kamaru Usman shared his thoughts on Khamzat Chimaev’s skills as a fighter and explained why he thinks he’s better than Chimaev.

“I think he’s as advertised,” Usman said as quoted by mmajunkie.usatoday.com. “He’s very tough, he’s big, he could strike, he could wrestle, he can grapple, he can do it all. So can I. I think he’s as advertised, but you don’t know until you know.

Ignorance is bliss sometimes. I give him all the props in the world. He’s definitely done everything he needed to do with what he’s been presented with, but iPhone Pros don’t fit in certain pockets. You might need just a regular iPhone.

They both take good pictures, and they both work just fine. My fight IQ, the way I see certain things or just compute certain things in the fight are slightly different, so, it is what it is. If Khamzat is the true contender and potential future star that I think he could be, then hopefully he learned from that, but we’ll find out Saturday”.
