The former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira disappointed many fans worldwide by announcing that he is pulling out of the rematch against Islam Makhachev. Oliveira explained why he has pulled out. Apparently, during a sparring session, he got a deep cut on his eyebrows; it was a severe injury due to which he was forced to withdraw from the upcoming event.

The good news is that Islam Makhchev quite immediately found a new opponent; he will be fighting Alexander Volkanovski for the rematch.

An equally exciting match-up that has swapped disappointment with excitement. Khabib recently shared his thoughts on the last-minute opponent replacement.

In a recent Instagram video, Khabib spoke about Charles Oliveira pulling out and explained why it makes no difference.
