At the opening of the main card of Saturday's Fight Night 229, two young fighters Bill Algeo (17-7 MMA, 4-3 UFC) will face Alexandar Hernandez (14-6 MMA, 6-5 UFC). Although they haven't had the best results lately, the audience was looking for this match, which says enough that it will be an interesting match.

Algeo believes that Henrnandez is not mentally strong enough and that he breaks down when he is under pressure. Of course, he appreciates his opponent and says that he has quality, but he studied his weakness, which he will try to exploit.

Hernandez has certainly lost four of his last seven matches, so he will certainly be very motivated to end that negative streak. “Explosive, for sure he’s a good athlete,” Algeo told MMA Junkie and other reporters at Wednesday’s UFC Fight Night 229 media day.

“Utilizes everything, he does everything well. It’s just he tends to fold, he tends to break a little bit, and I tend not to”.

Algeo hopes to continue his good streak in the UFC on Saturday against Hernandez

Unlike Hernandez, Algeo has been on a good streak lately, he has won three of his last four matches and wants to continue his good results.

One of his last wins was in April against T.J. Brown where Algeo showed a very good performance. The audience loves this fighter because he has a very interesting fighting style, and he always creates hype around the fight. A very interesting guy for those who want a good show.

“That’s what gets people paid,” Algeo said. “That’s what puts butts in seats. At the end of the day, that’s why I’m here. I don’t know if there was a Fight of the Night that was that short so, I’m happy with my performance.

I thought I was in control. Yeah, he (Brown) landed some stuff, but I felt in control the whole time honestly. But yeah, it was a cool finish, cool celebration, everything”. as quoted by MMAJunkie
