A lot of interesting matches await us in Saturday's Fight Night 229, which will take place at the UFC Apex. Many new names, there are veteran experienced fighters, but really many young fighters will perform at this event. One of the more interesting fights is always the one between Ricky Glenn (22-7-2 MMA, 4-4-1 UFC) and Drew Dober (26-12 MMA, 12-8 UFC), who are performing on the main card.

Drew Dober is a very experienced fighter in the UFC, he had matches with some of the most famous names in the world of MMA, among others against Islam Makhachev and Bobby Green. Glenn believes that this will not help him and that he is ready for him completely.

He added that he has been wanting to fight him for a long time because he has not tested himself many times against veterans who have a lot of experience in the Octagon.
“He’s a big name,” Glenn told MMA Junkie and other reporters at Wednesday’s UFC Fight Night 229 media day.

“He’s been around for a while. I actually fought on the same card he made his pro debut on back in 2008 in Omaha, Nebraska. “I’ve kind of had my eye on him since 2008, quite a while. He’s beat some big names, I know this is a big opportunity.

I’m looking forward to taking a hold and seizing the moment and leveling up big time in my career”.

Ricky Glenn needs a win on Saturday to get back on track

Ricky Glenn's career has been in a bit of a crisis lately, so this excellent puncher wants a match against the veteran Dawson in order to get back on the winning streak and stabilize his career and future in the UFC.

He says that he trained a lot, more than ever and invited all fans of a good and attractive fight to watch him next Saturday.
“Going back to the drawing board and it’s the game we play,” Glenn said. “We come out here, we roll the dice in that octagon and control things I control, and it didn’t go my way.

It was pretty bad, but I’m looking for some redemption on that one”. as quoted by MMAJunkie
