Chael Sonnen had an interesting speech on his Youtube channel, where he commented on Fight Night that was last Saturday. After that, he had a few things to say about the upcoming UFC events. Among other things, the upcoming fight between Paddy Pimblett and Tony Ferguson was commented on.

Sonnen knows Tony well, so he took his side. Although the experienced Tony Ferguson is a big outsider in the match against the young Briton, Chael believes that he will beat Paddy very easily.
“Tony Ferguson’s a tough night for anybody, and Tony only has fought real killers,” Sonnen said.

“These guys that have gotten the nudge on Tony are the best of the best. Tony Ferguson until just recently has been ranked in the top 10 for his entire career”.

After six defeats in a row, Tony Ferguson is looking for an opportunity to end that streak

Tony Ferguson has lost six of his last fights, and he looks nothing like the old Tony that everyone feared.

Paddy Pimblett is quite a young lad who has shown great skill. Due to an injury, he hasn't fought since last year, so this match was made. Certainly, both fighters are very popular and will attract a lot of public attention for this match.

“Tony Ferguson is the one that gave Justin Gaethje an opportunity,” Sonnen said. “Tony Ferguson is the one that created Charles Oliveira. … You can see when a guy’s time has passed, but you’re still juxtaposing that against a guy’s time who’s never arrived.

Paddy ‘The Baddy’ has never arrived. Tony just slid out of the top 10, Paddy’s never been in the top 10, never even threatened to be in the top 10”. as quoted by MMAJunkie “A guy being on a skid while being active is a much better situation than a guy sitting out,” Sonnen said. “This isn’t a hard bet”.
