Tony Ferguson is on a downward spiral
Tony Ferguson is on a terrifying losing streak; no one would have expected him to lose for 4 years straight.
He is on a 6 match losing streak; his fans will be hoping for him to break out of it against Paddy Pimblett. However, It is worth knowing that Paddy Pimbeltt is no easy opponent; it could turn out to be a very tough challenge for Tony Ferguson.
It’s a must win for Ferguson if he aspires to elevate his fight game. On the flip side, Paddy Pimblett is undefeated in the UFC and is currently on a 4 match winning streak; he has a professional MMA record of 20-3. A win for Pimblett will be huge as it will allow him to seamlessly propel further and fight other well-known/high ranked opponents from the lightweight division.
Shavkat Rakhmonov vs Stephen Thompson is a very exciting fight, but that rules out Kamaru Usman vs Stephen Thompson. Usman has a wide list of options to pick from, and it will be very interesting to see the choice he makes for his comeback fight; from the looks of it, 2024 seems to be the year when we will see the 'Nigerian Nightmare' return.
