Beneil Dariush wants a fight with Charles Oliveira: It should have happened earlier

In a recent interview, Beneil Dariush discussed the possibility of fighting Chares Oliveira. There seems to be a difference between Dariush's plans and what UFC was looking for. Dariush, however, is not ruling anything out at the moment, and he would like to fight Oliveira in the octagon if he is available.
“I get to fight Charles Oliveira, one of the best to ever do it,” Dariush told MMA Junkie Radio, as quoted by mmafighting.com “Sounds good to me. I’m not complaining about it. But as far as who deserves to fight for the title? No one is even close to what I’ve done so far.
I was hoping to fight Charles, let’s say February-March, so right around this time, and then we could have done July against Makhachev. That was my ideal situation. But then Charles kept pushing it back. It went from March to April, from April to May.
So now they’re trying to set us up for May. That’s kind of what ruined it for me. I love the idea of fighting Charles Oliveira – I just wish it was sooner”.
Beneil Dariush talks about Makhachev vs Volkanovski
Beneil recently commented on the fight between Makhachev and Volkanovski, which attracted enormous attention.
Makhachev achieved victory, but in a difficult way. “You start to see holes in their games that might not even be there. You’re only seeing these holes because these inhuman men are colliding, these great fighters colliding, so you start to see these things.
I thought it was a great fight from both perspectives. Volkanovski just confirmed my beliefs because I didn’t really have any tape on him besides the Tsarukyan fight, but Volkanovski was able to confirm my beliefs on what I thought his game was lacking and what exactly I could take advantage of”.
