Pep Guardiola is a Spanish soccer manager and former soccer player, a midfielder and manager of Manchester City. As a player he won six Spanish championships, two Spanish Cups, four Spanish Super Cups, one UEFA Champions League, one UEFA Super Cup and one UEFA Cup Winners' Cup with Barcelona, as well as an Olympic gold with the Spanish national team.
Becoming coach of Barcelona in 2008, he led the team to the victory of three championships, two national cups, three Spanish Super Cups, two UEFA Champions Leagues (becoming the sixth to do so both as a player and as a coach), two UEFA Super Cups and two Cups of the FIFA club world. With fourteen trophies won in four years he is the most successful coach in Blaugrana history. From 2013 to 2016 he coached Bayern Munich, with whom he won a UEFA Super Cup, a Club World Cup (in both cases achieving a personal record for victories in the competition), three German championships and two German Cups. Since 2016 he has managed Manchester City, with whom he has won five Premier Leagues, two FA Cups, four League Cups, two Community Shields, one UEFA Champions League and one UEFA Super Cup. With 37 trophies won he is the second coach, tied with Mircea Lucescu as the most successful in history behind Alex Ferguson.
