Nikola Jokic is a Serbian basketball player who currently plays center for the Denver Nuggets in the NBA. Born on February 19, 1995 in Sombor, Serbia, Jokic was selected as the 41st overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. He quickly proved himself to be one of the most promising players of his generation. On May 22, 2021, Jokic became the third player in Denver Nuggets history to win the NBA MVP award. He was the first Serbian to win this prestigious title.
