Aric Almirola, born in 1984, is an American professional racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 10 for Stewart-Haas Racing and part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 1 Mustang. 08 for SS-Green Light Racing and the n. 28 Mustangs for RSS racing.
In 2002, Almirola moved to the NASCAR Sun Belt Weekly Racing Division and finished second in Rookie of the Year standings. He followed with five pole positions in 2003. In 2004, he became one of the first drivers to participate in NASCAR's Drive for Diversity program.
Almirola is married to Janice Almirola, with whom he has two children: a son named Alex and a daughter named Abby.
