Amari Cooper

Amari Cooper, born in 1994, plays wide receiver for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League. He was selected fourth overall in the 2015 NFL Draft by the Oakland Raiders. In college he played football for the Alabama Crimson Tide.

On December 8, 2014, Cooper was announced as one of three finalists for the Heisman Trophy, along with Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota and Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon, finishing in third place. He was also awarded the Fred Biletnikoff Award as the college's top receiver.

On October 22, 2018, Cooper was traded to the Dallas Cowboys for a first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. In the Thanksgiving Day game he led the new team to a victory over the Washington Redskins with 180 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns in the final 31-23, being named NFC Offensive Player of the Week.

On March 12, 2022, he moved to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for a fifth-round pick and a sixth-round pick in the 2022 draft. In the penultimate round he scored 2 touchdowns and played the fifth game of the season with at least 100 receiving yards and one or more scores, a one away from Josh Gordon's franchise single-season record.
