Lebron James

LeBron James, born in 1984, is an NBA star of the LA Lakers. LeBron is considered one of the best basketball players of all time. He is the leading scorer in NBA history in the regular season, as well as the second in the Finals after Jerry West. In the playoffs he holds various records including points scored, steals, defensive rebounds and wins. First overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft and named Rookie of the Year in 2004, he won four NBA titles (two with the Miami Heat, one with the Cleveland Cavaliers and one with the Los Angeles Lakers) and as many awards as regular season MVP and of the finals. With the US national team he participated in three Olympics, winning the bronze medal at the Athens 2004 Games and the gold medal at Beijing 2008 and London 2012.

In 2010 he was ranked by Forbes as the second most influential athlete behind the cyclist Lance Armstrong and in 2012 he became the richest basketball player in the world for the first time, surpassing Kobe Bryant.
