Mac Jones

Mac Jones is a young American football quarterback of New England Patriots, who has attracted attention in recent years. Born September 5, 1998 in Florida, Jones played at the college level for the University of Alabama. During his college career, Jones was successful and helped win two national titles.  Jones began his career at Alabama in 2017 as a redshirt, meaning he could train with the team but not take the field. The following year he played 14 games, mainly as a holder on special teams. In the second half of the 2019 season, he became the starting quarterback after Tua Tagovailoa was injured, leading the team to a Citrus Bowl victory.

In 2020, with Tagovailoa declared eligible for the 2020 NFL Draft, Jones was named Alabama's starting quarterback. In 2021, Jones declared himself eligible for the NFL draft and was selected with the 15th overall pick by the New England Patriots. He had the chance to start for the Patriots and showed that he has great potential. He has a good reading of the game, precision in throwing and good decision making. Although he is still early in his professional career, Jones has proven that he has the skills to become a successful quarterback in the NFL. He has shown that he is ready for the next level and has the potential to become one of the stars of the league.
