Alex Marquez

Alex Marquez is a Spanish motorcycle racer, Moto3 world champion in 2014 and Moto2 in 2019. He is the brother of Marc Márquez, also a professional motorcycle racer.

In 2010 he took part in the Spanish championship class 125 with the Monlau Competición team, finishing eleventh, and finished in sixth place the single test of Albacete valid for the European category title.

In 2021 he moved to the wheel of the Honda of the LCR team; teammate is Takaaki Nakagami. His best result is a fourth place in the Algarve Grand Prix and ends the season in sixteenth place with 70 points. In 2022 he continues with the team and his teammate from the previous season, he scores 50 points finishing seventeenth.

In 2023 he was hired by the Ducati of the Gresini Racing team, with teammate the Italian Fabio Di Giannantonio. He gets his first pole position in Top Class and a third place in Argentina, while in Great Britain, starting from third place, he manages to get his first ever MotoGP victory in the Sprint.
