Ben Simmons

Ben Simmons is an Australian basketball player with US citizenship, professional in the NBA with the Brooklyn Nets. Son of Dave Simmons, professional in Australia, he established himself in the national team at the age of 17: he was part of the squad that played two matches in the 2013 Oceanian Championship, won by Australia. The year before he also played in the Under-17 World Cup, finishing as runner-up.

He is a player with an excellent physique, to which is added the strong ability to rebound and the remarkable ability to pass the ball, for which his game has been compared to LeBron James and Magic Johnson. With a mediocre mid-range shot and a very poor shot from beyond the arc, he uses his skill and body to penetrate the middle of the paint, as evidenced by the numerous free throws he earned throughout the NCAA season.
