Carlos Sainz

Carlos Sainz, whose full name is Carlos Sainz Vázquez de Castro, is a very successful Spanish rally driver. Born on April 12, 1962 in Madrid, Sainz began competing in rallying at the age of 16 and has since amassed a number of notable results. Sainz is one of the most decorated rally drivers of all time. He won the World Rally Championship twice, in 1990 and 1992, and achieved a total of 26 victories in World Rally Championship races. He has competed for several top-tier teams throughout his career, including Toyota, Ford and Subaru.  What makes Sainz an exceptional driver is his driving ability and his ability to read the terrain.
