
Michael Chandler is an American professional mixed martial arts fighter, born in 1986 in High Ridge, Missouri. He is known for his power and for being an exceptional wrestler. Chandler was the lightweight champion in the Bellator MMA promotion, one of the premier mixed martial arts organizations in the United States. Chandler's MMA career began in 2009 when he signed with Bellator. After a series of impressive victories, he managed to win the lightweight title in 2011, defeating Eddie Alvarez in an epic match. Subsequently, he manages to successfully defend the title on several occasions.
Chandler has demonstrated exceptional grappling skill and considerable power in his hands. He is known for his aggressive and relentless fighting style which has led him to have one of the most impressive careers in Bellator history.
