Tyrann Devin Mathieu

Tyrann Mathieu, also known as "The Honey Badger", is an American football defensive back who currently plays as a strong safety as a free safety for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League (NFL). Mathieu was born on May 13, 1992 in New Orleans, Louisiana and is of African American descent. Since childhood, he has shown a great passion for football and has demonstrated a natural talent for the sport.

After playing at the high school level, Mathieu enrolled at Louisiana State University (LSU), where he continued his football career at the college level. During his time at university, he impressed everyone with his defensive skills and competitive spirit. In 2011, he was nominated for the Heisman Award as college football's top player, becoming the first defensive end to be nominated for the prestigious award since Charles Woodson in 1997.

After his college career, Mathieu was selected in the third round of the 2013 NFL draft by the Arizona Cardinals.
