Arizona Coyotes

The Arizona Coyotes are a professional ice hockey team based in Glendale, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix. They are members of the Pacific Division of the NHL's Western Conference.

In the 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 seasons the team qualified for the Stanley Cup Play Off. In 2011-2012 they lost the Conference finals. The Coyotes have played their home games at Gila River Arena since December 2003, but it is rarely filled as hockey in Phoenix doesn't have much of a tradition, having spent seven and a half seasons at Talking Stick Resort Arena.

According to Forbes magazine, their value is approximately $290 million, thirty-first and last among the NHL franchises.
