New Orleans Pelicans

The New Orleans Pelicans are an NBA basketball team based in New Orleans, Louisiana. They joined the league in 2002 as the New Orleans Hornets, but were renamed the Pelicans in 2013. The team became most famous for selecting future superstar Zion Williamson in the 2019 draft. Despite their young history, the Pelicans have seen some talented players pass through their team, such as Chris Paul and Anthony Davis. The team continues to seek success and attract fans to the vibrant city of New Orleans.
