Federer, Nadal, Murray and Djokovic all together: here's where!

On the morning of Friday 22 July 2022 the same competition thought of giving the official announcement to drive all the fans and tennis fans crazy: The Fab 4 Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic will be the four representatives of Team Europe at the fifth edition of the Laver Cup, scheduled from 23 to 25 September at the O2 Arena in London.

A dream formation that led by Bjorn Borg, who in the last few hours has seen confirmation of the invitation to participate by the 35-year-old native of Belgrade. The Big Four will reunite and play together to continue the domination of the blue team in the fascinating sporting event, created by Federer and his manager Tony Godsick, naming it after the Australian legend Rod Laver.

It promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime show in the UK in exactly two months, starring the four tennis players who have dominated the sport's scene for practically 20 years or more. The first announcements had already significantly increased the sale of tickets, which went on sale since March and were almost completely sold out.

Djokovic's words

The official website of the event also reported the first words of the former world number one after accepting the invitation: "I am really excited to join Team Europe again for the Laver Cup. It is the only competition where you can play in a team environment, with guys you normally compete against.

Joining Rafa, Roger and Andy - three of my greatest rivals of all time - will be a truly unique moment in the history of our sport," he commented. Novak will return to defend the colors of the European team after the 2018 experience in Chicago.

Captain Borg added: "I don't think I could have imagined having these four sports icons on a team. I know that they, like me, appreciate the significance of this moment and will truly live up to it. Our goal is to win every year. With Rafa, Roger, Andy and Novak in the team, we will have our chances," he concluded.
