Novak Djokovic's father wrote to Queen Elizabeth II for help!

Given the latest events, the decision is almost sensational, but Novak Djokovic's mess is a defeat for the Game. The Serbian champion will be present at the Australian Open 2022. In the conference, after the official postponement of the draw for the Australian Open 2022, the Minister of Immigration Hawke spoke about how important the vaccine is for Australians in recent months, he spoke of many topics but did not specifically discuss the case of the number one in the world, and therefore Novak Djokovic is present at the draw of the tournament, will be the number one seeded and will be able to participate in the event.

Alex Hawke has not yet made a decision on this and therefore the draw will include the Serbian champion and reigning tournament champion. Tournament director Craig Tiley, meanwhile, declined to answer reporters' questions on the matter.

The quarrel for the visa which lasted almost weeks saw the end of the Serbian tennis player being punished for very special situations. As admitted by Novak himself ,. the unvaccinated tennis player admitted that he tested positive for Covid on December 16, but consciously went to a meeting with the French press on December 18 and in particular with the newspaper L'Equipe, naturally unaware of all this.

Djokovic also lied about the travel visa by claiming that he had not traveled in the last 14 days when in fact he went to one of his accommodations in Marbella. Despite this controversy and the will of the Australian people (exploded in these hours against the number one) the Minister still has many doubts and for now Novak Djokovic will participate in the tournament and will be present in the draw.

Now, according to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, Srdjan, father of Novak Djokovic, would have tried to contact Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom to try to mediate the situation created around her son in Australia.

In the meantime, in Spain, it is being investigated whether Djokovic, not vaccinated, when the Serbian champion had entered Marbella without the required permits, opening an investigation. From 20 September, for non-vaccinated people entering Spanish territory, specific documentation is required, which the number 1 in the world would not have presented, or at least incorrectly.

At the Australian Open 2022, Nole should theoretically face these opponents: Miomir Kecmanovic in the first round, in the second round he will have Tommy Paul, in the third one between Sam Querrey or Lorenzo Sonego and in the second round one between Gael Monfils or Cristian Garin.

In the quarterfinals Matteo Berrettini, seeded number 7, in the semifinal instead should have one between Rafael Nadal or Alexander Zverev, before the eventual final with Daniil Medvedev. Unless there are other sensational surprises on this matter, Novak Djokovic will participate in the Australian tournament and will make his debut in a Serbian derby against fellow countryman Miomir Kecmanovic.

In the quarterfinals he could possibly also face the blue number one, the Italian tennis player Matteo Berrettini in a rematch of the Wimbledon final. All of course if this now absurd story could not take further sensational turns and the Australian government decides to oust the unvaccinated tennis champion.
