ATP announced the new health measures

ATP has released a statement via its official website explaining the new changes that will aim to help players and tournaments in these critical times they are going through due to the coronavirus. Increase of the prize pool in ATP 250 and ATP 500 tournaments and creation of a bonus fund: the ATP has formalized that between the Australian Open and Wimbledon, the prize pool of the ATP 250 and ATP 500 tournaments will be increased by a percentage ranging from 60% to 80%.

This increase will become a reality thanks to the creation of an ATP Bonus Fund, normally distributed among the twelve best players of last season. The creation of this fund was approved by the Players Council, led by distinguished tennis players such as Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal or Andy Murray, among others.
