Belinda Bencic announced her pregnancy in early November in an Instagram post, in which she appeared alongside longtime boyfriend and trainer Martin Hromkovic. "We're expecting our little miracle soon! We can't wait to meet you," she wrote on social media.

The story between the two began in 2018 and now they are not waiting for the birth of their first child. Coco Gauff, Elina Svitolina, Paula Badosa, Maria Sakkari, Aryna Sabalenka and Anett Kontaveit are just some of the players who congratulated Belinda on her personal achievements.

Bencic was due to play an exhibition match against Emma Raducanu in Macau on December 2. However, both withdrew, given the wrist injury of the very young British champion of the US Open and Bencic's pregnancy. Daria Kasatkina and Xinyu Wang replaced the two players in the Asian exhibition event.

Belinda confessed on social media that it is more difficult to take photos in a bathing suit now that she is pregnant. "It's not so easy to take holiday photos these days," the Swiss player wrote in a photo showing her in an exotic location.

Despite her shyness, some of her followers praised her physical appearance in the shot. Rumors were circulating on the WTA Tour that the tennis player had stopped due to an injury. There are also rumors about possible food poisoning: none of this and the real reason was revealed by the Swiss tennis player herself on social media.

For this reason, the 2020 Olympic champion and winner of 8 WTA titles had to give up a long trip to Mexico in September to participate in the WTA 1000 in Guadalajara, while in October she obviously chose not to head to China for the Beijing and Zhengzhou.
